Robert William Bonner - A Summarized Biography
Denver, Colorado 1987
On a snowy night at 9:45pm in Denver Colorado, Robert William Bonner was born. Robert was raised in Wheat Ridge with his two parents, Donald and Suann Bonner. Grandson of Robert J. and Sylvia Nell Troxell of Englewood, Nier & Davies Families. After Jefferson High School in Edgewater, Robert joined Red Rocks Community College at 18 to study Graphic Design. At 20, Robert joined the U.S. Army Infantry and conducted Basic and Advanced Infantry Training at Fort Benning, Georgia. From September 2008 to August 2009, Robert spent two tours of duty as a regular Army Infantryman out of 2/8 Infantry, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division out of Fort Carson, Colorado.
In 2011 Robert left the Army for pastures anew, after recieving a Combat Related Medical Discharge from Fort Carson, Colorado Springs, Colorado. In January 2012, Robert joined the Art Institute of Colorado to pursue a Bachelor of Game Art & Design. In September 2013, Robert was horribly injured in a motorcycle accident, and spent the greater half of 2014 learning how to walk again. From 2015 to 2018, Robert lived and studied abroad in Bad Salzuflen, Germany. Robert continues his work as a Game Developer to this day, but Contemporary Art is his passion. Presently, Robert lives in Newport Beach, California working closely with the Laguna Art Gallery in Laguna Beach, California.
